On golf

What Flick communicates so well in On Golf is that everyone who plays golf has certain limits and certain levels of skill, but also a lot more potential than he or she might realize. Working with that raw material, Flick can show anyone how to get comfortable on a golf course, how to think on a golf course (without letting your mind get in the way), how to practice properly (sometimes without even hitting a single ball), and, ultimately how to play golf - not work it. On Golf will improve the technical aspects of your game and take strokes off your score. But what makes this book so important is that Jim Flick takes you by the hand and leads you through the thought processes, the psychological ups and downs, and the mental preparation you need to become a better golfer.
