Secrets of Origami

Origami is the Japanese term for the art of paper-folding. From Japan it has come to the Western world. Robert Harbin, well-known as a writer and television entertainer on this and similar subjects, has devoted a great deal of his time and energies to assembling and presenting the wide range of international expertise contained in this work.

The models in this book have sufficient variety of ease and complexity to recommend origami to everyone as a fresh, amusing and sometimes exasperating pastime. For those who are experimenting for the first time with paper of different shapes and colours, or for those who have retained the enthusiasm of their schooldays for complicated and startling structures from the most unpromising materials, Robert Harbin has written a delightful manual of entertainment.

Described within this book are 138 models, illustrated with 1400 line drawings and 73 photographs.
