The Hite Report On Shere Hite Voice Of A Daughter In Exile

"Shere Hite's ground-breaking Hite Reports have had a profound and lasting influence on generations of readers - countless millions all over the world. Hite writes here for the first time about growing up in rural Missouri, the early feminist movement, her private life and sexual identity. She left America to live in Europe because of a fundamentalist political backlash, renouncing her U.S. citizenship in 1996 to become German." "Hite's initial research grew out of her involvement with a feminist group in New York, and it was with the publication of The Hite Report on Female Sexuality in 1976 that she shot to international acclaim."--Jacket.
