Origins and evolution of the European Union

"This book sets out to locate the European Union in the context of International Relations, both in theory and practice. It comprehensively explores how the European Union frames and conducts its international relations. The editors have set out three key themes for contributors to explore: the EU as a sub-system of international relations, the EU and the processes of international relations, and the EU as a power."--Jacket.
